Indoor Skills and Drills -Winter Training
2025-26 INDOOR SUNDAY SKILLS WITH STEVE AT THE TRENTON HIGH SCHOOL GYM
Sunday Skills with Steve is coordinated by Steve Whitehead, Club Head Coach along with an experienced and caring group of Quinte West Soccer Club Wolverine Coaches, and alumni players.
Sessions begin on November 23, 2025.
Steve has coached in the club for many years in both Wolverines and House League. He grew up playing in the Club (then Trenton Minor Soccer) after moving here from England. He has been the Club's Head Coach for approximately 10 years and started the Skills and Dills program then. He coached in the OCAA with the Loyalist Lancers for 15 seasons leading them to their highest placing in the past 25 years. He coached and played with the Trenton Sockers in the Bay of Quinte Div. 1 and Durham Motor City League. He travelled with the Sockers to play in Europe and in the USA. He still coaches the Sockers Blues Women's Team.
STARTING NOV. 23 SUNDAYS SKILLS WITH STEVE AT TRENTON HIGH SCHOOL GYMNASIUM.
- No outdoor shoes are permitted in the gym. Parents must remove outdoor shoes (including snow boots). Only one parent or guardian per player is permitted in the gym.
- Participants should arrive 10 minutes early to allow time for check-in and warm-up. The second group please stay outside until the first group has left.
- Please ensure players wear appropriate soccer attire, including shorts or tracks, shin pads, t-shirt/soccer shirt and running or indoor soccer shoes. No outdoor soccer cleats are permitted. Please do not wear jeans.
- Each participant should bring their own water bottle.
- No food or snacks are permitted inside the gym including parent's coffees.
- If your child has any medical concerns or allergies, please inform the program coordinator prior to the first session.
- In case of cancellation due to weather or school closures, updates will be sent via email and posted on facebook or our website.
