Funding

Playing for Keeps (Quinte Regional Children's Foundation)

Playing for Keeps is an organization that provides partial or full subsidy to families that may require assistance with enrollment fees.

The application is completed online through their website and the applicant will be contacted directly for any follow up information required.

Families that apply for this funding must have confirmation of approved funding from the organization before their child will be placed on a team. You are encouraged to apply early so that there are no delays in getting your child on the field.

For more information on this program and to apply, click on the Playing for Keeps link to continue to their website.

Jump Start Funding

Participants may also choose to apply for funding through the Canadian Tire Jump Start Foundation.

In some instances, families are also provided with a voucher for required equipment, i.e. shin pads and soccer cleats.

KIDSPORT ONTARIO

KidSport provides grants to kids from families facing financial barriers so they can participate in registered sport programs and experience the lifelong benefits of a season of sport. KidSport Ontario provides grants of up to $250 per eligible kid, per year (January 1st - December 31st) towards sport registration fees.

If the child needs equipment, we will make a referral to a partner agency. Grants are intended to be used for sport registration fees; travel and competitions are not eligible for funding.
